The new Sanguine Hum album Now We Have Power is available for pre-order today from Bad Elephant Music. Now We Have Power is to be released on October 12th 2018 and is the sequel to the acclaimed 2015 release Now We Have Light, described as "A Masterpiece..." by All About Jazz.

Misuse of power, abuse and suicide and the potential for technology to redeem are some of the mature themes found in The Lazarus Sign, a new indie RPG game that I'm currently composing the soundtrack for. 

I've had the urge to write a composition for strings recently, probably because I've been really enjoying the new Olafur Arnalds Chamber Evolutions samples by Spitfire Audio. 

In this blog I'm going to show you how to go about recording the trumpet and demonstrate the different characteristics of various microphone designs with a five mic, mic shootout. 

Sanguine Hum are featured in the new book, 'Wonderous Stories' by Jerry Ewing.

It will be released in two editions, both hardbacks, with a forward by Steve Hackett,  and has been beautifully put together by Carl Glover.
